Are you an active writer of DeviantArt, FanFiction.net or FictionPress.com? Want more publicity to you stories? Want an easier way to keep your readers up to date on your current projects? Look no further! As a member author of The Wannabe Writers, your stories will appear in our catalog, you will have permission to post your own updates for others to view, and the requirements to join are very few and very simple. Here they are:
  1. You must be the author of at least one story on FictionPress.com, FanFiction.net, or DeviantArt. Stories that are in progress, but have not yet been published count. 
  2. You must submit one of your stories for judging, this will determine whether or not you will be allowed to join, so make it your best! If your story has not been published yet, you MUST include a copy of it in a file (As in not typed into the email) along with a note that the story has not been finished. Judgement is based on:
    1. Use of proper formatting and writing conventions
    2. Ease of reading
    3. Spelling Errors and Typos
    4. The story's subject material and storyline will NOT affect judgement. We only want to see if you are serious about writing.
  3. You must agree to the following terms:
    1. I shall not use any form of swear or cuss word in my posts.
    2. I shall not use any from of adult content in my posts.
    3. I shall make at least one post each month pertaining to my stories.
    4. I shall not insult the work of other writers in my posts.
    5. I shall not refer to any person by their real name, unless I give NanoCarp documented proof that the person has agreed to let me use their first name in the blog.
    6. I shall not refer to any person by their full real name, no exceptions.
    7. I shall place a link to this website's homepage on my profile for Fanfiction.net/Fictionpress.com
    8. NanoCarp reserves the right to make minor edits to my posts.
    9. I agree that if I break any of the above terms, NanoCarp reserves the right to remove me from the blog, along with records of my stories.
    10. These terms may be changed at any time and will still apply to me.
  4. Additionally, NanoCarp agrees to the following:
    1. I will update the "Story Board" Page as soon as an possible after you send me an update. (Either via Email or PM on FanFiction.net)
    2. I will assist any poster in the use of Blogger's functions if needed. Simply send me a message and I will do my best to help.
To apply, send an email to: thewannabewriters@gmail.com with the subject "Wannabe Writers Application" and a link to your story. If accepted, you will receive an invite to join the group. If denied, you will receive a response to your email saying that your application has been processed and explaining why you have been denied. Note that denials will be EXTREMELY rare, so don't let that discourage you. As well, you are allowed to apply multiple times, up to once per month. However, if you send in more than one application before receiving a response, you will be disqualified from joining for 2 months.
