Well, it's official. I'm excited. We have our first author joining us from FictionPress.com. As you all should know, FictionPress is FanFiction's sister site for original works of Fiction. As in not based on other content from video games, movies, already published books, TV, et cetera.

I'm currently getting ready to start adding the new author's stories to the blog, and sending him his invitation. This will, strangely, be the 2nd author that I come into daily contact with offline. Why? He lives here in the same dorm building as me here at McDaniel College.
Anyways, he writes mostly on FictionPress.com and not on FanFiction.net. Here's the deal for the Story Board and how you can tell whether you will be going to FictionPress or FanFiction. As you should know, FanFiction categories are for what the story is based on. FictionPress categories, however, are based on what type of story it is, such as Fantasy, Suspense, stuff like that. These categories will be placed in the same spot as for FanFiction. So, if the category references a series, you're going to FanFiction, if not, you're headed to FictionPress. Enjoy the new author's works, and we hope to see you around soon.

ReplyDeleteIf it isn't too much of a problem, I like to be called "Hedgestar" on the Internet. "Hedge", "Hedgie", and "Star" included as shortenings of the name.
